Welcome to Pete's Pics

     It is my hope that my pictures bring attention to the beauty of the world, both natural and manmade. Beauty can be found in things that are simple as well as those that are complex. Shapes, lines, color, texture in combination with the dramatic effects of light make it possible to capture, with a click of a shutter, what is often seen only in the blink of an eye.

     What you see on this site are captured moments in time of things that caught my eye and/or evoked an emotion. I believe photographic subjects, as ideas and issues, can be presented in different ways. My photography is my presentation of the subjects I find significant.

     Hopefully they will evoke an emotion, trigger a thought or simply provide a moment of peace when viewing them. Keeping that in mind, these photos are here for your enjoyment. I am not so naïve as to think everyone will enjoy them. But I sincerely hope you do.
